It's really been forever..but worth the wait

It really has been a ridiculous amount of time since I last blogged, and I'm not even sure why! I constantly think I'm going to go blog, but then of course something else would come up. So, of course a ton of things have happened since then. But just down to the main things, about a month ago I got strep throat really bad, started blood pressure meds, was on bed rest, and then had IV transfusions all last week because Baby Aiden is taking all the iron out of me! And now I actually feel great. Not so sleepy all the time!

Now, the good things... Brittany, Trendon, & Annalise came and visited, and even though I really did not get to see them as much as I wanted, I enjoyed every single minute that I did get to see them. Annalise is gorgeous and has such a great personality already...very funny baby! She was quite amazed w/ Adam having so much hair, she was trying to pull it all out. I already miss them, and wish they just lived a lil closer!

On Tuesday of this last week, Adam and I got to go and see Baby Aiden and all of his cuteness, we had our 3d/4d ultrasound. Words cannot even describe how you feel when you can watch your baby move around kick, and pout before they are born...we even have a 15 second video of Baby Aiden yawning. Now there are some poeple who just constantly say oh that doesn't even look like a baby or I hate the way those look or they are scary...but screw them (sorry I'm a little bitter, this is what a PREGNANT woman that works w/ me said) Yes, I understand sometimes it is hard to get what you are seeing, but I guess just being there and it actually being your baby is a whole different story!

Here is beautiful Baby Aiden, he wasn't the most cooperative baby, but the sonographer was amazing and took a lot of time, and did a wonderful job getting us some amazing pictures.

This is our favorite picture, he was kind of grinning and just laying so peacefully!

Then he started getting a little upset.

And this one is kind of hard to see, but he has his lips pooched out and his fist up on top of his head, he gets that pouting from his dad (and those lips, I have tiny lips)

So, I think they are gorgeous, I really almost cry every single time I look at them. Yeah pregnancy hormones are there, I'm trying to start nesting, and I cry at the smallest lil baby thing. Joys of pregnancy!
Now, my wonderful 5 days off....
Today - relaxing w/ Adam, going on a movie date to see The Hangover, I let Adam pick for Father's Day.
Tomorrow - it's Father's Day, we are taking my dad to eat for lunch, then going to go and see Adam's dad.
Monday - have a dr. appointment, making sure the iron is up and everything is good. Then celebrating Adam's niece's b-day.
Tuesday - having lunch w/ Holly and then nothing but fun stuff...yay!
Wednesday - once again whatever I want... a lot of scrapbooking!! ( I finally started Aiden's scrapbook, just about time)
