I seriously couldn't have asked for this to have been a better weekend, and three days off if I tried. I have enjoyed it all so much! Not to mention, my nights at work were busy, but wonderful. Friday after sleeping some and waiting for Adam to get home from work, we went to Calvert to meet my family and have dinner. After that we headed back to my mom and dad's house to talk to them and spend time with my Granny. My entire family is just too excited about us having a baby. We packed my sister up and then she came home with us for the weekend. I enjoy having her here more than anything right now. She is so grown up, and just a lot of fun.
Sat. we had to finally go pick up the blueberry and take it back to my parents house, which let me tell you was a chore! On our way there we checked the mail...and recieved our amazing package that Annalise sent Aiden. It was the most precious thing in the entire world, and yes Brittany, you're too amazing! My mom and dad were in love with everything too! After we got back to Murray then we went on our HUGE grocery shopping trip. And for some reason no matter how much I love to go to Wal-Mart, it makes me feel sick every single time we go....that's really weird. I pushed through it though and finally bout some delicious things that I think I might actually eat this time, hopefully! My sister and I made some spaghetti last night, and it was great.
Today we are just hanging out and eating a lot...I swear that's actually what I have the entire day planned around, which may make me sound ridiculous, but it helps me prepare myself. Right now Adam is fixing us a breakfast of pancakes with strawberries and whip cream...very exciting business. And later we are having a late lunch, early supper when Nathan comes over, and i'm so excited!!! I do have to take my sis home, which I really don't want to, but that's alright.
Now on to the new obsession in this house hould....for people who don't know, I have never been much of a sweet eater, I mean yes I love making cupcakes, but I have always preferred chips to ice cream, but not these days. I crave sweet things!!!! It's maddening, I'm not just talking ice cream or cupcakes, but like fruit after fruit. My mom craved ice cream when she was pregnant with me, I guess I'm just following in tradition. So, here is the new dessert that is becoming extremly famous in the Fulgham household..Fried Cheesecake!!!! It is just too wonderful for words!
I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekends just as much as ours!
